It may have a few minor glitches, but one day I envision thousands of Cybertrons helping katkind, the way this one will help you. - Professor Hackle
Created by Professor Hackle, the Cybertron robot was designed to help assist the SWAT Kats in their missions. It was a way for him to thank them for all the trouble his Metallikat robots have caused them. Eventually he wanted to make more of them as he envisioned they would help katkind. The Cybertron was able to reach high speeds using its Turbo Treads, repair the Turbokat internally, scale the sides of buildings, fire high voltage tasers and withstand laser fire with minimal damage. While it was eventually taken out, it held up its own and proved a useful tool for the SWAT Kats.
He shares his name with the Autobots’ homeworld in The Transformers.
In the unfinished episode Turmoil 2: The Revenge, Cybertron would’ve been successfully rebuilt by Professor Hackle and returned to the SWAT Kats to act as their helper. He assists Razor in infiltrating the Cloud Fortress to stop Turmoil, but is captured and reprogrammed to serve her, similar to T-Bone, who is brainwashed using a device called the Crown of Obedience. Razor is able to break the villainess’ hold on both, and Cybertron saves Razor’s life by preventing Turmoil from shooting him.

He trusts he can lead us that far down the path.
But, I can't see it.
I can see only the deal. A chance to fly again. A chance to make Feral pay.
It's now or never.
Again, I look to my friend. "Jake?"
Dark Kat too levels his gaze on Jake. "You do want to get back at the Commander, don't you?"
He finally admits what's been brewing inside even him. "Yes," he says flatly. "I'm in."
I blink at my partner's abrupt change of heart... and his tone of voice.
But, I turn to Dark Kat anyway. I blind myself again. I want this. "Alright. You got yourself a deal."
"Then, a deal it is," Dark Kat returns, offering me a hand to shake.

In 1993, Hanna-Barbera released SWAT Kats: The Radical Squadron, an animated action show taking place in the world of Megakat City. It was based on characters created by Christian and Yvon Tremblay. Despite early cancellation in its second season, the series remains popular with an active fanbase. In the United States it can occasionally be found in syndication on the Boomerang Cable Network.
